KCCI’s continuing coverage of the Central Iowa Employment and Training Consortium scandal, where top officials are accused of paying themselves excessive salaries by dipping into federal job training money.
On trial are the former CIETC chief accountant Karen Tesdell, former consultant Dan Albritton and former Iowa Workforce Development deputy director Jane Barto. Former CIETC CEO Ramona Cunningham’s trial will be held at a later date.
The trial is expected to last close to two weeks.
I sure hope that barto’s lawyer brings his A game. I would like to see that weasel kelly taylor and Cliff fairchild get theirs. How could kelly not know what was going on the whole time when he was the one processing the payments and delivering the checks? seems pretty amazing to me that he gets out of all this. Maybe they can ask him what his disabled wife thinks of his girlfriend working for him…..
interesting I am sure.. but knowing Barto, her lawyer will probably drop the ball again…….
